Board Members and property owners always talked about how they were left disappointed with their property management firms. When I opened the doors of Dermer Management in 1992, I set out to create something different. I did not want to grow the firm into a factory where we would lose the personal touch and have properties come and go. Instead, the company took on a certain amount of select clients that fit our portfolio and made sure the clients would be with us for many years to come.
Since 1992, we have been selective and taken over 30 properties from from Soho to 85th street in New York City & Brooklyn.
- The first property we took over in 1994 was a 60 unit co-op located at 325 E 77th Street.
- In 1996, we started managing the tallest residential condominium on Park Avenue, located at 900 Park Avenue
- In 1999, we took over Soho Plaza Corp. located in the heart of Soho at 66 Crosby Street/514 Broadway
